Week 66

Was there an earthquake? Now it's my trun to be freaked out. I keep hearing from members about a big earthquake in Cali. Same day there was a little one here too...how weird!

Little news - I have calluses on my knuckles from knoking so much.

Yesterday was amazing!  7 lessons and new families found and I wish everyday was like that!

We had a big ward activity and guess who showed up! Our sketchy investigator...DRUNK! I literally couldn't believe it. Facepalm

TOSHIRO SE BAUTIZO!!!!!!!!!!
IT WAS AMAZING AND SPIRITUAL AND EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS WORTH IT WHEN THIS MOMENT COMES

TRANSFERS! But we didn't have any! We get another one together and I'm so happy! We just need to buckle down. I need to take advantage of this time I have left. I have worked my butt off my whole time but yeah I obviously have made alot of mistakes too. I have not always done all I should have. But II will not have the opportunity to do this again, so I need to take full advantage and like it says in Jacob 5:61 This is the last time the Lord with Nourish his Vineyard. And this is my last chance to work in it like a missioanry and I am so grateful for these next two changes #changeofmiracles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So.. here is to six more weeks of peruvian men whisteling and barking at us! so stoked! hah
Right now, we are actually in a trio with sister Bailey! Her companion left after being here for six months. So her companion is coming tomorrow.  We have loved being together! Three north Americans together ... ha it's great!

The ward here is growing... I have a new idea that I might not be here to harvest. I am here to plant the seed of the work of salvation. They don't get it yet, but with all our effort they are starting to understand. I see the progress little by little. One day they will have it down. The ward counsel will know how to function. But sadly I probably won't be here to see it. But that's not why I was called here. Not to harvest the fruits but to plant and to test and to start. It's really just a start here. They are not spiritually mature yet and it's not as if we can baptize all these people if the ward is not ready. That I s why I feel that my call is to yes baptize, the few, the chosen and the ready. But I'm not here for when the real harvest will come. But one day it will come. I'm glad for my call and I will do whatever the Lord has called me to do. QUE GRANDIOSO ES MI LLAMAMIENTO!

I'm still a sister leader...kinda thought they would take me out...but nope. Pucha. HAha I'm grateful for the calling and I am happy to help all I can until I leave. I really am worried though that when our group leaves we will be a mission that is really young. We need to train the next round of leaders so the mission stays alive haha.

(Story from her companion) So we were walking down the street the other day and these three little boys had a huge squirt gun! We saw that they were spraying the side walk and other people and we were like..let's get out of here fast. Then the little boys come walking up to us and point the squirt gun at us and yell........" CHIIIIIICCCAAAAS" .. Let's just say we ran up that hill pretty darn fast dodging the water! hah funniest thing ever!

I love you guys!!!!!!!!!! Miss you guys too! Love Hermana Quist!
