A dog bit my companion this week...that's cool...I liked dogs...PAST TENSE- Peru has ruined dogs for me.
Toshiro is actually getting baptized Saturday!!!!!! finally! I will get see him baptized! I've worked so hard haha. He is good though, So ready and I am sooooooo happy!
We are having fun times with our mission leader who I complained about not doing anything. Then I guess he told the elders ¨Sister Quist doesn't think I do anything, I'll show her!¨ So basically he is working awesome this last week. I'm pretty sure it's just to spite me but at least he is working ;)
I gave a talk this last week, with one days notice ;) One thing I love the mission for is that now giving talks are easy. I can throw somthing together and rock it. I still get nervous if pres asks me to read a scripture in a conference though haha. But a least talks won't freak me out. I gave it on the atonement and missionary work obviously. It was a growing experience. Tears and everything.
I decided there are two ways to go about getting the members to work with us more. #1 Burning them and telling them what they aren't doing ( like our mission leader ahah- maybe not the best way:) or #2 teaching them the principle. Understanding the atonement will be the only way they will have it come from themselves and how they will be converted to the work.
We ate guinea pig! It was soooooooo gross to watch but also pretty delicious!

Faith is Character. Faith comes through drinking the cup. Suffereing with confidence. Confidence that He will always send a way out.
When we ask for what we want....it's the lack of faith.
We want it all too easy! We aren't willing to suffer.
Just think about the confidence of the Godhead. The confidence of God to Christ and also Christ to God.
