Hey! I have been in the CCM ( MTC) for 5 days now! Today is P day and on P days we get to go to the temple, then shop and see the city for 2 hours. BUT unforunatley I am pretty sick today and yesterday so I am going to stay here at the CCM today so I can get better and not miss anything tommorrow. I had a fever and the chills all days yesterday along with someother hermanas in my district. I pushed through yesterday though because you cannot miss a day of lessons here or you will miss so much! Everyday is just spanish all the time. My teachers dont speak english at all and that makes it alot harder to communitacate but we catch on fine and learn faster.

So that last email was so short becuase our email time got cut off and then some elder signed my name and sent it. So I asked if i could come up today to email for 15 mins to let you know more then I am sick haha. I am feeling better today but not 100%. So breakfast is so gross because you have 2 choices-this egg dish that literally isnt cooked with this weird sauce...or bread. So I eat bread hah. But I didnt eat yesterday at all so I was forced to eat nasty eggs this morning.
I have been here 5 days and I know how to pray, bear my testimony and that's it in spanish. But yesterday they said ( in spanish because no one speaks english here) ok your going to teach a 20 minuite lesson tonight. Whaaaa I DONT KNOW SPANISH!!!!! But we did it! Our teachers are our investigators and we teach 2 of them every night. I do not have a native companera but one from Idaho. She is great and we are bad at spanish together.
We watched the movie The Restoration as a district and it was so strong. Probably because there is nothing here to block the spirit testifying to all of us that Joseph Smith is a prophet. I was crying the whole time. There is so much to learn here that I feel overwhelmed. They all keep putting it in perspective though...we must focus on coming closer to Christ before we focus on learning the language. They also stress obedience so much. 100% obedience!!! I love it here though and I am learning so much! The spirit is so strong everywhere and tesifies things to me all throughout the day!
This is hard. But it doesn't matter because my will needs to be swallowed up in the Father's will. This is not my time. They also stress how the gift of tounges is real. I have not felt it yet, but I have Faith I will, once I get the spanish in my mind - the holy ghost can find it in there when I need it. We hear and speak spanish all day! Sometimes when we stop and try to speak in english because we are so bad at spanish but we forget english tooo and just decide to stop talking all together haha.
I miss you guys so much ( more than I thought ) but I try not think about that stuff too much. It's great here and I am doing fine!!!! I love you all and I will talk to you next week! Tell me some news from home!!!

Its always foggy here and smells smokey at night for some reason. But we are kept in our little compound the whole time haha
