Week 44

So go look up the news about Peru and see what's going on here. A national Riot! El Paro Nacional de Peru! So I'm in Nasca and it's all about the mining business here. The government wants to take away the mines or somthing I don't  understand and all the miners are rebelling! So it's calmed down these last couple days. But they keep saying we can 't leave to work...then later they are like yeah it's fine. BUT today it has been worse. The miners have come from Lima, like 20,000 of them and they have blocked the roads and no cars can pass. They are burning tires and throwing rocks and stuff. We gotta go to Nasca central today so the elders and us are going to try and walk because no cars can pass. I'll keep you updated! #soexciting #dontworry

Anyway we had 2 investigators that were going to get baptized, then their dad said NO! So sad really. But now we had 5 new investigators come to church yesterday and I see some good potential! LOVING IT!

VIVE EL PARO!!!  The Riot Lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will try to get better photos today hehehe

Good luck grams and gramps! I wish I had you guys coming here!

I love you all and I love the Lord! Look at this sweet quote I found!

¨My mission pertenece al senor. Ballard

¨My mission pertains to the Lord. With all my heart I will give my energy and my time to the Master, becuase I love Him. Wherefore I will look at everyday not as if it is mine, but His. I will treat every min. of his time withthe respect and the focus and the dedication it merits.¨

Love, Hermana Quist
